Birthday Girl......Check list and More...

Miss Émilie 3 years old already♥♥ A perfect hostess at her party :) and an excited one!

Sunny asked me if I do get my weekly projects done. If they are all cut and prepared for assembling they usually get done, but if I just make a mental note I end up letting it slip into my UFO basket .

For the Quilt Block Sampler

Block #4 is done and
block #5 is ready and on this week's agenda

My Garden Party Star blocks are done.. and I have two more cut for this week

My "Warm Memories" "This and That" table topper " Holly Daze"... On the list this week~ the binding

#7 of 12 place mat all stippled and ready for the binding this week..And #8 of 12 ready for the stippling ~

I was able to do an extra table topper..

Another "This and That" called "Cinnamon Twist... " On this week's agenda ~~ More Stippling ....

I did stipple my friend Elaine's pillow top.
She is registered in Karen's class, but for now the fear of free motion quilting is still very real... knowing how she feels I offered to do it for her. This is a gift for her daughter Andrea ( a very special girl) and La Guilde Acadienne's number one supporter♥

And last but not least I decided to put this Christmas piece, "Wrapping Presents" on my list.
it will be a table topper of sorts... table runner? table topper? Not sure yet... It will be a "Show and Tell" at the Guild when we reconvene and an idea for a future workshop.

So this is this week's agenda... Have a good week and happy sewing♥♥

  1. Happy Birthday Miss Emilie - what a beautiful young lady! Joan, you continue to astound me with your beautiful and abundant work - you're amazing!

  2. Happy Birthday to Miss Émilie!! Thank you, Joan, for posting your workflow. I am anticipating another busy school year and I worried that I would never get any time for my crafting. I am going to set aside some time during the weekend to plan and precut for the week's sewing.
