I love mail!

....especially when it is a quilt magazine

and the Primitive Quilts magazine is super... Love this book!!!!

This project caught my eye...

Flying geese are a favourite of mine but sometimes I find it a hassle to make.
Well this is a different version. "Raw edge Flying Geese"
They sew up quickly and precisely!!!

The pattern calls for

"raw edge" appliqué at each end.

And here it is all done

.. I can see there will be more projects made from this magazine♥♥

  1. Oh my goodness, what a great looking table runner! I have seen this book on a few blogs but your project is the first I've seen actually made from the book. I truly do like it!
I've never done anything raw edge - but I have a pattern that calls for it.

  4. I have been procrastinating about subscribing to this magazine since it came out, but no longer. I just sent of my subscription today.

Your project is lovely, Joan. Three of us went shopping yesterday down your way. WHat started off as a really yucky day turned out gorgeous...and so were the fabrics we purchased!
