So those are my entries to the Quilt Show and what amazes me the most is that all labels on the quilts are dated this year so it was a very productive year ...
It will be a very busy week for me next week but I will try to enter a post on the quilt show and show you lots of those beautiful quilts that will be entered.
Beautiful quilts, Joan. You have had a very productive year. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt was a productive year, Joan, and they are all just gorgeous...hard to pick a favorite. Although I think I may have that book that the first house quilt came from, I will have to check it out. I am sure that the quilt show will go smoothly, you are always so organized.
ReplyDeleteI just love your work! So talented! And I just love, love, love - Birchwood Lane House!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful quilts! You have had a very productive year!
ReplyDeleteI am a Kim Diehl fan also. I have a quilt all done but the borders called Passing Fancy. I hand pieced and quilted the center. Of course I made it a lot larger than what she had it in the pattern. Your quilts are beautiful. hope you have a good show. Chris
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness you did all those this year???? Joan they're just fabulous - Birchwood Lane House is my favorite - I'm praying the show goes really well, hon, can't wait to hear all about it!
ReplyDeleteOh my Joan, what beautiful quilts, all of them! And Miss Emilie is a little doll, what pretty eyes!
ReplyDeleteMy, but you've been productive! And such beautiful quilts. I need some motivation to get back to my sewing machinem and this just might do it.
ReplyDeleteVery productive of you! Love them all but have a special liking to #3. I have that Kim Diehl book and have eyed that one many times. Congratulations and I home you win some awards!
ReplyDeleteWhat a productive year you've had! All your quilts are lovely. I'm sure the quilt show will be a great success. I wish I could see it but there are no trips back to NS for us this summer.
ReplyDeleteOh, Joan - you're such an inspiration to all of us! All of your quilts are so beautiful - you could just do your own show (smile)! And, my goodness little Miss Emilie is getting so big! What a cutie-pie! Best wishes as you host the show - hoping it all goes really well for you!
ReplyDeleteWow Joan - you will steal the show! I am delighted to read that you are coming up again in October for another workshop. Is Simone coming also? I can't imagine I have anything to teach you, your work is so lovely, but hopefully it will be a worthwhile trip.
ReplyDeleteYou had beautiful weather for your quilt show on the weekend, hope you had record attendance!
