This was only my second attempt at appliqué... but with one step at a time and four corners to do, the challenge became a wonderful experience!
Now; for my UFO and August projects in the Charming Girls Quilt Club .... #1....I want to make pillow shams to match the Texas Truffle, because it is one project I don't want to keep in the "Quilt Cupboard"!
#2 ....And I want to completely finish my Vintage Rose...quilted and binded....... #3...The next one I plan to finish is one that has been in my UFO basket for over a year and I am now excited about finishing it. I call it "My Sister's Star" as it is my sister who designed this pattern. This project is the first one I did using the Charm Packs. ... and I haven't looked back since!

The fabric I am using is Tamarack Grove By Holly Taylor ( another of my favourite designers)
I don't anticipate I will be sewing or blogging a lot this week... Company is arriving for the big day Saturday...but the sewing machine will be up and running next week ...and so will the posting of my son's wedding........
Check out all the beautiful July projects from the Charming Girls Quilt Club on http://cottoncharmquilts.typepad.com/ Lots of talented people out there!
