Sunday

Thank you for all the wonderful comments on my cooking. A lot of you referred to the fact that your husband did the cooking but in this family it is not allowed. "Jay" is N O T a cook, however he is wonderful at grocery shopping and cleaning my mess after my cooking. I found him a special bag for when he goes to the grocery store which I thought was fitting! All the family was over; so the apple pies all went and the blueberry cake is almost gone..

......but these pictures take the cake!..

And these two Princesses, Laurène and Ariane, just returned from Disney World with lots to show and tell grand-mère

The family
This picture tells it all.. they were just in aaaaaah! It brings tears to their moms eyes when she looks at this picture, because it captures their true excitement♥♥♥

  1. What a beautiful family! My husband cooks and bakes and does the groceries! I'd rather clean the house, so that is the trade off. I do cook on week nights because I am home from work first, but I will be honest and say I cook because I have to not because I want to...

  2. As a grandmother too, these pictures are adorable. We will be taking our grandsons to their first visit to Disneyland next week. I can hardly wait.

  4. The pictures are GREAT! I love the sunflower one. I don't think I've ever seen one that big - and the look on her face! How sweet!

  6. What a great hubby - to shop, and clean up the mess. Tell Jay that he's going to have some frustrated husbands on his hands when all the bloggy wives say, "but Joan's husband does the shopping and cleans" (giggle). Okay, your granddaughters are all so sweet. Love the Disney pix, and of Emilie in your garden! Too sweet.
