Looking forward to visiting all you and enjoying the day sewing together...
I'm off to the
machine...
Update...#1
Update...#1
My center 2½ " squares all all sewn
And so is the wide border...
now I can place my
mittens.... I am calling this project ..."The Mitten Mat" ..
See you later for another update after I join you at the snack break:)
Update #2
the appliqués are traced on the
the two way fusible interfacing and fused on to the fabric
Then on to the wide border
Now I am ready for the lap work where I will be doing a blanket stitch all around my mittens .. This is where my word "lessen" comes into play . This project lessens the time I spend in my sewing room. I will be moving to the family room to enjoy some special company. I have three of my four grand-daughters visiting and two are staying for a sleep over.So I put the videos away and turn on the children DVD.. I may not post anymore this evening ..it is 7:00pm here in Nova Scotia but I will post the finished project.
I really had a good time sewing with all of you and thanks to the wonderful organizers, Kelly and Kris ....
"" No distance of place or lapse of time can "lessen" the friendship of a true friend..."'
Good night my friends ...
A demain♥♥♥
