What a week-end!

The Greeters are ready,,,
Members Charmène and Clara greet over 52 women from many Guilds in South West Nova Scotia.
The food is ready  for ....the Guild members from Mahone Bay, Barrington, Pubnico, St Anne de Ruisseau, Annapolis and Barrington .
The teacher has arrived... Welcome Karen Neary
Greet and meet, Show and tell all those titles to say ... a very successful evening.
The only sound you could hear in the hall was ohhhh! ahhhh!
52 women left speechless by Karen's beautiful projects.
Member  Simone helps Karen with her sale
of books and patterns

And the next day everyone registered in the workshop is ready....
"Diamonds are A Girl's Best friend" . 25 members did a fantastic job . The diamonds were so bright it discharged my camera batteries so I will have to post the table toppers in another post.
So many possibilities with this technique.
The gift ............

speaking of gifts . From Karen
this special package.. look at that blue fabric and look what I had on my to-do list ....
a Snowman "paper piecing" from " A Very Special Collection"
The perfect Fat Quarters for this project...

And that is not all...This... a treasure for sure
The Neary honey ... Yummy... I don't know who was more excited me or Gerald who was suffering from Laryngitis and medicating with a mixture of honey and hot water. He was disappointed he  had used the last of the Neary honey we had on hand on Friday morning.
Today he can almost speak clearly..
I don't believe in coincidences♥
Thank you Mr and Mrs Neary... and your bees...

Not only do we get to learn from my favorite teacher   ... we get to shop from my favorite store.. Mrs Pugsley's Emporium
Look at these pre-cuts... so difficult to choose.
Welcome to Beth's friend and helper.... Lou!
Look at this bin! For all those who are making hexies...  they thought they had fallen in a pot of gold....

oh!yes Beth did not forget anything...
                                  ...  the yardage of course

So what 's in my bag???.
Lots of goodies ............
my  favorites ... charm packs, ( Clara's Garden by Kansas Troubles) (Under the Mistletoe by 3 Sisters );  jelly rolls, ( Lakeside Gathering by Primitive Gathering) and Best of Morris by Barbara Brackman);  layer cakes ( Heart's Content by Laundry Basket), with  yardage to match and oh yes my favorite thread. This quilter sings the happy song...

The week-end was SUPER, thanks to lovely ladies from Amherst ...
