CGQC January Tag

Oh! this is a wonderful "tag" Kelly came up with because I love to decorate and whatever new ideas I can get is so much appreciated!

We have to post pictures of the way we display our quilting projects and/ or quilting supplies...
So let me begin! I have quilts on racks.... these are heirlooms as one is from my mom and one is from "Jay's mom. There is always a table topper on my table and this one is from my friend Kelly for the mini quilt swap the CG had in the fall. The quilt projects I receive as gifts are the one's I enjoy displaying the most. They remind me of the friendship that was made because of the sharing of such artistic talents and when I sit at my table and give thanks for the abundance of gifts, my friends are on the list. This one from another CG Anne and I have it proudly displayed on my window seat where I sit to watch the birds feed in my feeders. As you come into the foyer I have a bench in which the back panel is changed seasonally and there I put my seasonal quilts. (Émilie's little teddy keeps a watchful eye ) I have quilts on my love seats... On my wall this is also a seasonal space for seasonal projects. This one is the "Winter " one from Timbleberries Seasonal series.
Downstairs in my spare bedroom. This is a cabinet my "hubby" had made for me to store my quilts. When I first received it, I thought it was too big and I would never fill it ...
Was I ever wrong!

Next is a very special corner.
This is where I sit to do my lap work and where I have my newest supplies displayed and easily accessible for my viewing pleasure. The little cabinet is where all my supplies are stored for my lap projects such as appliqué, and hand quilting. (especially band-aids for my fingers)

And on this little corner I have the gifts I cherish from dear friends and hate to open ! Just look at those pins! They are too pretty to use!♥♥♥

So grab your camera and post those corners of interests on your blogs... let Kelly know you have done so and don't forget to check out the many displays on the CG blogs.

  2. I love it! Thanks for using the table topper I sent you- it is so nice to see people use the quilts they are given as gifts. I also made the "Winter" quilt from Thimbleberries, and put it on the back of my couch at Christmas. ( I wish I had taken pictures before my Christmas quilts were put away!)
